Love that you highlighted other forms of therapy. Talk therapy was useful for me for a long time ... but my biggest defense mechanism is that I tend tot intellectualize so ultimately I could talk for years and not let it reach my heart which has meant that more expressive art, movement and somatic experiences have been critical to my own healing.
I also intellectualize instead of just feeling my feelings 😭 so I'm glad to come to the realization that other forms of therapy can get me out of my logical brain ✨. I hope to dive into more expressive art, movement and somatic experiences too :)
